Ojai Pixie Tangerines - Coming Soon

Every spring in Ojai something special shows up: Pixie tangerines. If you’ve lived here a while, you know the routine—short season, incredibly sweet fruit, and a lot of local pride around them.

Last year we wrote about why we love Ojai Pixies and why they’re such a perfect flavor for what we make. This year we’re taking it a step further.

We’re currently working with local Ojai farmers to source fresh Pixie tangerines and turn them into a limited run of Pixie Jun Kombucha in cans. The goal is simple: capture that bright, sweet-tart Pixie flavor in a crisp, refreshing jun. Because the Pixie season is short, this will be a small batch release while the fruit is at its peak.


We’re also bringing Pixies to the tasting room in another way: Pixie Jun Slushies. When the weather warms up, a cold, citrusy slushy made with local Pixies just makes sense.

If all goes according to plan, we’re targeting a March 25th release for Pixie on tap, in cans and fresh from the slushies maker.


Ojai’s Pixie harvest only lasts a few weeks, so we’ll be moving quickly once the fruit is coming off the trees. Keep an eye out—these releases will be limited and only around while Pixies are in season.
